Das Africa Festival besteht seit 1989 und ist das größte Festival für afrikanische Musik und Kultur in Europa. Über 400 Gruppen und Einzelkünstler aus 56 Ländern Afrikas und der Karibik sind bisher in Würzburg aufgetreten und haben mehr als 2.080.000 Besuchern den kulturellen Reichtum des afrikanischen Kontinents vor Augen und Ohren geführt.





Das 29. Internationale Africa Festival findet statt vom 25. - 28. Mai 2017.
